“After foot surgery, it's taken me two years to be able to wear a heel. These are really comfortable. I am a teacher and I can wear these all day. “When I bought these I wasn't sure they would work for me. I loved the heel height but wasn't sure about the ankle straps. Needn't have worried. They look great on and are super comfy. I had to fiddle around to find the best way to tie the straps (one side is longer than the other) but that's easily done. A few wears around the house and the soft nubuck quickly gave enough to fit my wide foot. Love them!”

“I love everything about these heels except the ankle tie. I would prefer to be able to tie them at the back of my ankle but the straps aren't long enough. But ideally they would have some sort of buckle or clasp, as the knot tend to sit quite bulky which annoys me.
However, the leather is lovely and soft, the foot bed is also nice and soft. The block heel means I can wear them comfortably for hours on end.
I also love this soft mushroom colour- it goes well with just about everything.”
“I was so excited to get these beauties- they are a great colour and very cute. Although they just don't stay up all day! I double tie them as recommended, but they still either come undone or fall down and become loose. So disappointing :(”

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're so sorry you're not having much luck with your Turaco heels. In most cases, we have found the straps become easier to tie up once the leather has softened.
