“A very pretty and well made shoe but not particularly comfortable and certainly not 'a wider fit', as advertised- I'd say these would be a c width at most- If you have d or e width feet, or wider, you will find these narrow and uncomfortable, particularly in the toe box. Because the leather is very stiff, they don't give much or stretch around the toe area, so the width is a real issue for wider feet, even with the custom fitting inner soles. I think they could be great shoes for narrow feet, and if you don't do much walking. The detailing and stitching is excellent and they look like they will last. The custom fit inner soles are all full length, so again this limits space around toes and makes the shoes narrower. I am a teacher and on my feet all day for work and I walk everywhere- for me these shoes were not what I was looking for and I was a bit disappointed as they are not comfortable. Additionally, they came with a care guide saying that to keep them in good condition you should get a protective rubber outer sole like Topy applied at a cobbler. Considering the price of these shoes, I feel that they should already come with this coating. Also, bared needs to consider a half footbed for wider feet. Positives are that the shoes are beautiful and well made and the online ordering process quick and efficient.”
