“I have recently returned from a holiday overseas. I took 4 pairs of shoes with me (some Nike trainers, other boots, these Bared Kestrels and the Bared Silvereye White leather. I ended up only using the 2 pairs of Bared shoes. They were amazing, fashionable and so so comfortable. I am 57 years old and in October last year had foot surgery. In layman's terms, one bone in my foot was shortened and at the same time a 5 cm pin was inserted into my second toe so I can no longer bend my toe and it sort of just hovers there. Walking has improved since the surgery but no shoe was comfortable until my Bared shoes. In London I walked 52 kms over 4 days and had no issue wearing these shoes or the Bared Silvereye white leather shoes. We walked over the cobblestones in Rome (we were staying in the centre of Rome) and again no issue. I was and am elated. My husband and I love to walk everywhere while on holidays so these shoes made that possible. My husband was happy as the holidays were not affected. I also had compliments on my shoes in many places by our tour guides and fellow tourists. One lady even told me I didn't look like an Australian as I "was too elegant"!!! Thank you Bared. I have bought more shoes and will continue to do so. If you need an older spokesperson, I will sing your praises.”
