“I like these boots, their look and versatility. I bought them in the Tan Nubuck. They are my first pair of Bared after my podiatrist directed me towards shoes that are better for my feet.

“While I think the Grebe boot is a great shape that could go with a lot of outfits (I was hoping they would be my go-to flat work shoe to wear with dresses) sadly, it didn’t fit me in the ankle. I couldn’t walk in them without the top digging in painfully, and in my opinion they don’t flatter a wider ankle either due to the short boot front. But the craftsmanship was exactly what you’d expect from Bared - high quality, looked like it would last a long time. If you have normal or narrow ankles, Grebe could be for you.”
“I had such high hopes for these boots but the blisters I got on my heels on my first wear quickly dashed those hopes. On second wear, I wore blister bandaids - and the boots rubbed right through them! So now here I am too scared to wear them....”
Thanks for your review - blisters the first few times you wear a shoe are not uncommon and will usually resolve themselves quite quickly. In such cases, we recommend wearing your shoes around the house with socks or stockings, massaging the leather to help it soften more quickly - please get in contact with us if this doesn't work for you, where here to help x
