We are sorry to hear you found the Herons to be too heavy for you. Our shoes offer a steel shank that runs from the base of the heel to underneath the ball of your foot to help guide your gait and encourage flex in the forefoot. Coupled with rigid leathers that maintain structure and support over time, our shoes can feel a little stiff and heavy in the beginning.
