“I work in hospitality and am on my feet all day, I also don't have a car and walk everywhere. So my feet need some special love. A couple years ago I broke one of my feet and it tends to ache and have circulation issues, however, not with these shoes. The variable footbed thickness was super helpful as the injury I had, has permanently changed the shape of my foot, so being able to put in the thinner footbed on that foot has made a big difference. The only critique is that I have worn through the heel rubber at the back of my shoes rather quickly ( I have had the shoes 2 months) I wish this was a bit thicker, or of a more rugged texture as I now have to find some time and money to have them repaired. By far the nicest shoes I have ever owned. I went into the Manchester lane store to try shoes on and ask lots of questions, the staff were super helpful. I then ordered them online during a sale, and there was a slight delay and mixup, and I accidentally got someone else's shoes the same time I got mine, but they were really helpful and responsive with email, in spite of the craziness of the sale going on. I still had my shoes the same week I ordered them.”
“Very pleased with the Plover in Black. I have terrible trouble finding shoes that fit (narrow feet, orthotics and an emerging bunion). The footbed in these is so supportive and combined with a solid heel cup, I don’t need to wear my orthotics. Shoes were a little stiff to start with, but I’m pleased to say they did soften up in a couple of weeks. Very happy to have found Bared shoes. Now I can have fashionable shoes, that are of great quality, comfy and practical to wear. Thanks Bared. Keep up the good work. Your service is amazing.”
“A friend recommended Bared to me after I complained of the poor quality and high price of the shoes I'd been looking at from other stores. I bought a black pair of Plovers from Bared and had a terrific purchasing experience. There are two inner sole types available and the smaller ones meant I had extra room in the shoes while I wore them in. Love it. The only downside to these shoes is that the top tongue is stiff and sits pretty high and sometimes digs into the front of my ankle.”

“Decided to try some snazzy work shoes and for the first few weeks I struggled with rubbing and sore feet. But persist! Now that the beautiful leather has softened these shoes are heaven. Good quality and are put to the test everyday at work and also look great to wear to after work activities so no change of shoes required!
