“I want to love Bared Shoes so much, but these shoes just didn't live up to my expectations, based on the amount of 5 star reviews! They are, of course, very well made and look lovely. However they do cut into the side of my foot (just below my pinky toe) and so when I wear them, I need to wear a blister-band-aid as a preventative measure. After a night of dancing at a friend's 30th birthday, the balls of my feet were actually in a lot of pain and had that 'red raw' feeling from rubbing inside the shoe. I have given a 3 star rating because a) they are a well made, quality shoe, b) I'm sure I will continue to wear these for shorter periods of time or if I know I don't have to stand/walk lots, and c) I know that all feet are different and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from purchasing just because they weren't my dream shoe.”

“I really love these shoes :) They are really flattering to your ankles and legs, with just a little height in the heel. They feel lovely/easy to wear, but also look quite special and eye-catching. I have them in leopard calf hair, and also now the magenta velvet.
