“These shoes are my first Bared shoes and I am sure they won’t be my last. Super comfortable and supportive on the base of your foot unlike other sandals that are very flat and hard. I have narrow feet and the adjustable straps are just perfectly suited to that. I am usually a 39 but went to a 38. The ease of sending out another size at no extra cost and free returns make shopping with Bared very desirable”

“My children bought me Auklet for Christmas (best present from the kids EVER!), they ordered a size smaller and after a quick visit to the Melbourne store to change them over (with exceptional customer service), I just love these shoes and have barely taken them off. The usual Bared comfort and all round awesomeness but even better with the adjustable strap across the foot given my wide foot. These have also converted my mother to get on to the Bared range. She tried my Auklet on to experience the brilliant footbed and with a narrow foot, she was able to adjust the strap to suit.

“Hoping to provide a practical review, as it’s fairly clear these are good-looking shoes!
I have smallish, narrow feet and I am normally size 37 in other brands, but in Bared I have sized down to 36 in all previous pairs of heels, boots, and ballet flats. I bought the white auklet as my first pair of flat Bared sandals and surprisingly I needed the size 37, as the 36 seemed a bit short and top of my toes were just hanging off the front.
For me, this sandal provides sufficient support. However, as the front strap isn’t very wide, I think these would better-suited for people with smaller feet. I think for longer feet, I would imagine the straps may not provide enough support for extended walking, as they would be proportionately further apart making the shoe less secure. I noticed other reviews have said that the front strap is positions the weight of the shoes across their toes, this doesn’t seem to be an issue for me - the front strap is positioned comfortably across the widest part of the foot (below the toes).
There is some slight rubbing from the heel when new, but breaks in easily.
Overall a comfortable shoe for me, that will get plenty of wear!”
