“I bought these in the Nubuck. I haven't been able to wear sandals since having an accident and having four metatarsals broken and a large metal plate put in my right foot. I am in some pretty aggressive orthotics, have had knee problems etc. I was able to walk for hours on the cobble streets of Rome in these! The heel support and firm position hold of the straps combined with that genius footbed just work for me. Also, a friend through a glass of red wine all over me and spattered my shoes! I cleaned them with wool wash and they came up like new! Am about to buy them in all colours!”

“I have plantar facilis/bunions which means it is SO painful to wear any fashionable looking sandal, even those made by leading shoe manufacturers, as their soles are generally flat. I had resorted to going out in ugly shoes that had the orthotic support but awful in the way of appearance. “I'm so pleased with these sandals. I have bad arthritis in one of my big toe joints and wear an orthotic insole. Obviously this is no good for wearing with sandals, and if i go without my foot is pretty darn uncomfortable. I went to Europe recently and TBH was a little dubious that they would cut the mustard while walking around town but, hey presto, no pain!! Even after walking around for hours. Looking forward to the melbourne weather warming up so i can skip around in my beautiful Robins again. I will be purchasing these babies in every colour :)”
