“I bought these sandals in August 2019 to wear overseas. They have been to Paris, Switzerland, all over Italy and Greece and still look brand new. I could walk for hours in them, dress them up or wear them with a pair of shorts hiking up to a lookout and they were so comfortable. No blisters! “I am not a person who writes reviews. I've literally written 3 ever, and I do a lot of online shopping. These sandals are a game changer, and I cannot wait to purchase more Bared shoes. It is amazing to have a sandal with sole and some heft on the bottom without feeling like I am clomping around or wearing Dr. Sholl's! How are all shoes not made with care for our footsies? These sandals fit pretty much exactly. I am an American 8.5, I have a high arch and a slightly wider, square foot (though I don't tend to wear "wide" shoes), and I ordered a size 39. The fit is perfect. Due to the tie feature my heel slides around a bit, but I think you will experience that with any tie shoe where the heel is not secured. I am confident I could walk around cobbled streets, pavement, or on a sidewalk for a day of exploring and still be comfortable. Additionally, free shipping for U.S. purchasers was a welcome surprise. I was fully expecting to pay shipping, but Bared had it covered. Although paying shipping would have been well worth it. Bared has changed the shoe game, and I only hate that I have waited so long to purchase from this company.”
