“There's so many white sneakers on the market these days, but these are the best I've tried. Super comfortable and stylish - I love the low cut of the style as well. A little bit of slippage at the heel, but actually quite comfy and room for my foot to move. Might try playing around with some of the additional padding/foot beds that also came with the shoes to see if there is any improvement, but they are great as is. Love that Bared sends the whole package (with different thickness insoles and foot beds etc) to make sure you can get the best fit for you.”
“Let me start by saying that these are a beautiful looking and beautiful feeling shoe, and of course that the Bared customer service experience is unmatched!! But I am here to be honest, and these just weren't right for me. They were a little 'shallow' (as in, my foot didn't feel surrounded enough) and I didn't think I could get a lot of walking out of them. I was looking for a pair of fun looking sneakers in which to do about 10kms of casual-paced walking per week, and while these definitely hit the fun looking criterion, I'm just not sure I would have been comfortable going for 2-3km walks in them at a time. “I swapped the thorntails for these. Customer service was outstanding, like nothing I've ever experienced. I've only worn my weaver a few times as it's been summer but so far so good. They fit around my ankles and Achilles better than the thorntails. Perhaps I need another colour and keep the black and green for special....”

“Have had these about 1-2 months now, still wearing them in. They look great, and the footbed is very comfortable. The leather is very thick and not supple/soft, so still not as comfortable for long walks as I would like. Like others have said, reasonably wide at the back so there can be a bit of slippage, and also quite a solid/heavy shoe. I am hoping that they soften up with time.”
“Bared shoes are usually so comfy. These gave me blisters and Im a little reluctant to wear for too long. They are super cool to look at though so perhaps I will have more success over time.”

We have arranged for some gel spots to be posted out to you. These gel spots are designed to reduce friction and painful rubbing or blisters. All you need to do is stick the gel spots to the problem area in your shoe.
