“These shoes go great with pants although not so good looking with skirts. I find them a little chunky on my narrow foot. The option of the different sized inserts is great as I have more difficulty with one of my feet than the other.”
“I came across Bared last year and these Floricans were my first pair -
stylish, comfortable and really well made, they went with me on a month long trip to Italy. Boy did they do the miles there over cobbled stone streets, dusty roads and stone steps. Needless to stay, I live in them!

Hi, Jocelyn! Thanks for taking the time to review our shoes. We're so happy to hear you love your Florican flats. With regards to the forefoot, we try to use leathers that are relatively stiff as to ensure they don't stretch out of shape after a few wears. We understand sometimes this requires a bit of wearing in, but we prefer to provide shoes that last the distance!
If you're having trouble breaking in your shoes, we recommend wearing them around the house with a pair of thick socks. By doing this a few times for an hour or so, this will heat up the leather and mould them to the shape of your foot.

“I bought these shoes as my first pair of Bared shoes (to fit my new orthotics), usually I avoid pointed toes as I have wide feet and often need to squash my toes into the point. These shoes do not squash my toes at all and didn't need any wearing in! I've been obsessed with Bared ever since”
