“I bought the lapwings 3 years ago and they are still going strong. Super comfortable and come up fantastic once polished. I wear mine at least 1-2 a week. The ankle strap makes these shoes fab for walking all day.”
“I have bilateral, chronic plantar fasciitis and bought these hoping that I won't get any heel pain and also was hopefully based on other reviews I will not need to 'break into' the shoes. The in-shoe orthotics are really well made and comfy, no pain there. They also provide a thicker and thinner set to allow you to have your optimum fit. I got some assistance from the chat and initially started off with the thicker insole but after a short outing, changed to the thinner insole. Unfortunately, I did end up getting blisters on my foot as it rubbed where it started narrowing. Bared do provide you with gel stickers to prevent blisters, will have to use them next time and hope I break into this pair quickly!”
