The Lapwings patent black are stylish and so comfortable - I no longer have sore shins from rushing around. I can fit my half orthotics in, and initially I thought it was abit tight on my upper feet. Turns out this was easily resolved by removing half the foot bed. True customisation. This style is great for my wide feet too. Thank you Bared.”

“So i finally got my order on the red lapwings. Beautiful shoe wore them as soon as i got them for about 4 hours and lets just say i don't know if they will loosen up but maybe not made for fat feet? Width is great but i was getting pain on the top as the leather was pushing into the top of my feet. The ankle strap on the right side scrapped my skin on. Can't return them now i felt more comfortable without any footbed. Not made for fatter feet don't know what to do.”

Note I would have given these a 5, however the only downfall is that they are a little big (I'm normally a size 38 and fit a 38 in the Brolgas, however these are a bit big and the ankle strap is a too long - I have it on the first hole and the strap hangs out further than the back of my ankle). Apart from that, these shoes are are perfect!”
