“I walk to work every day and have been looking for a stylish and comfortable shoe that I can walk around in for a long time, wear to work or wear going out.
I have a small narrow foot so I find it hard to find flats that are comfortable enough to walk around a lot and are also a good fit. These shoes are so stylish and comfortable. I wore them for the first time today and even on first wear, there was no discomfort or rubbing. I love that it has an ankle strap to keep the shoe on for more stability. I have recently had a leg injury and wearing these has also been better for me to walk around in as other traditional flats have no arch support and are too flat. I am in love with this shoe and this brand. I will definitely be buying more and have started recommending this brand to my friends and colleagues! Love it!

“I’d admired Lapwings from afar for a long time. But having had painful past experiences with patent leather, I was a bit wary. I finally bought them on sale in size 38 (my regular size in Bared) and have absolutely no regrets! So comfortable - no friction or squishing on any part of my feet. Another reviewer said they’re like wearing sneakers, and I totally agree.
I really appreciate the inclusion of extra padding and footbeds. With a bit of experimentation, I got the perfect fit for my different-sized/shaped feet. All I need now are extra holes punched for the ankle straps (which, by the way, are a bit stiff and I find them fiddly to ‘thread’ through the buckle).

“I’ve been recovering from injuries in both feet & had to give up my beloved heels. Discovering Bared has helped me stay positive I can wear supportive shoes & still look fabulous. I have 2 pairs of lapwings & they’re my go-to for work. I have narrow feet & whilst they are a little large on the sides, the ankle strap keeps them in place.
I did have to return 2 pairs - one lost a stud on the first wear & one had an issue with the heel squeaking. Bared customer service were brilliant & sorted it out for me. If you persist, it’s worth it.
I love Bared shoes & have bought a few of the flats as well. It’s now either trainers with my orthotics or my Bared lapwings & flats with their comfy insoles. So long heels, stylish happy feet are my new norm!”
