“Like all Bared shoes, these are made of firm leather that does take a few wears to soften. Worth the effort! I recently had foot surgery and cannot wear my beloved heels. These are dressy enough for work and help me come to terms with not wearing my other favourite work heels ( also Bared:)”
“These shoes are gorgeous and matches well with both dresses and pants. The upper leather is beautiful and photographs amazingly well, however the inner leather is quite rough compared to the upper.
That said, the toebox is quite hard and didn't soften despite trips to the cobbler and stretching sprays. The back of the shoe is also really heavy and kept slipping down my heel and rubbing it. Tried different footbeds and ankle straps which didn't help. It's past the return period so I've only worn it a few times to dinners (since no walking is needed), but the hard toebox still gave me raw toe knuckles. Wish they'd use a softer and lighter construction like their Rheas. I really wanted to love these beauties as supportive ballet flats are hard to come by but... unfortunately it just didn't work out.”

“As an orthotic wearer it’s so hard to find stylish shoes but these are really just the gift that keeps on giving. I purchased them to wear purely for work but find myself wearing them outside of work too and always receive lots of compliments on them. Perfect”
“I bought these to wear to court (I'm a lawyer) as I'm usually run off on my feet all day. I love that they're flat so I can run around with no concerns about tripping or falling over, and they're really comfortable so I can wear them all day. I also love the studs on the straps - it makes them a little edgy, poking out from under my work pants or on full display if I wear 3/4 or 5/8 pants! I always buy all my work shoes from Bared - these did not disappoint. The only reason why I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is that I did find I had to wear them in a little, whereas with my Brolga's - I could wear them instantly.”
“My Currawong’s arrived yesterday. Love them! I have several pairs of Bared shoes due to plantar fasciitis and they never disappoint. I do find they run a little large . I am usually a 37 but in all my Bared shoes I wear a 36. The Currawong is a slightly wider fit so if you have a very narrow foot this may not work for you.”
“Best flat shoes that go with any outfit. So comfy and looks good too. I needed a pair that I could walk to work in and they really fit the bill.
Love love love these”
“Super comfy. Bought these for work as I spend a lot of time on my feet. Was not disappointed. No blisters from day one! The studs add a little bit of interest and elevate Them beyond another boring work shoe. They also look stylish with jeans. Would definitely purchase again.”
“I bought these after multiple people recommended Bared for comfortable, well fitting shoes that also look good!
I have wide feet, so even getting flats that fit perfectly is difficult, let alone having some support as well. These are divine! I love that they come with different inserts- I was able to try out a couple of configurations to get the perfect fit (turns out the standard insole was best). No rubbing and they wore in really quickly. I wear them all day including the walks to and from train station on my commute. Love love love - I’ll be buying more styles!
For reference - I found this style true to my normal size.”
