“I realised that I needed new sneakers after 10 days in Japan where I averaged 25,000 steps a day. Although my old sneakers held up by the end of the day my legs and back were weary exacerbated by the fact that my orthotics don’t work in them. These sneakers are super comfortable and so stylish. When I wear them I feel like I am dressed up a little bit more. I’d love some other colour options because I would definitely buy more.”

“As a registered nurse and a podiatrist I was after a shoe that I could comfortably wear for work that required lots of walking but also offered some protection. I was impressed with the overall quality of this shoe and find them very comfortable to wear. They did require a bit of ‘breaking in’ as the leather is quite stiff and the shoe has a high heel counter which is good for rear foot control. But the breaking in only took a day of two of wear (and a few blisters) and they are softer now. These shoes are nice and roomy in the toe box so my feet are very comfortable and the foot bed is comfortable also and offers a bit of support. My only criticism is the velvet heel counter and tongue of the shoe. Although stylish, not great for infection control for work as I would prefer something I could wipe down. Maybe in future Bared could do a range of plain black leather sneakers suitable for health care professionals following infection control standards. But overall would recommend.”

I could walk all day and they were so much more stylish than runners or hiking shoes. My new pair fit perfectly, are light, comfortable right from the first wear and can be worn with jeans, Capri pants and skirts too. I highly recommend them.”
