I have tried all combinations of the inserts to find the best and most comfortable fit. Essentially, I feel my problem lies in the fact that I'm a size 18 woman with ankles to match. As your images all show, they are better suited to THIN ankles.
The addition of a tab at the front would help with pulling the boots on.
I also find I get a lot of pressure on my instep, which is fine while in motion but if I sit for a while my foot gets tingly. I'm hoping that over time the leather will relax a little more and then all will be good, as I hope to enjoy these boots for a long time to come. They really are lovely boots.”
Hi! Great to hear that you love the Cardinals! I do understand that they are a little tricky to get on and off - they are one of our tightest fits. This is to ensure that the elastic doesn't become loose over time. But don't worry! the leather does soften over time and they become easier to put on and off!
