“I was torn between the smaller size, great for summer with sockettes and cute shorts, but wouldnt be able to wear them in winter with thick socks on AND the bigger size for winter that l would flop around in in summer. The fabulous staff came to the rescue with 3 different orthotic like inserts. So settled on the bigger pair, no inserts for winter, and lve got the inserts in for summer now. I feel like l have 2 pairs of boots in one. What a great concept, knowledgable staff, and fabulous shoes. Im popping in again today to check out the latest editions.”
“Have lived in my Cardinal boots for much of 2017- they've gone to work, play and travelling with me. Although the heel wore away within a week or two Bared fixed it and re-heeled the bottom free of charge. Love these boots and plan to get another pair in winter.”

“These boots are great, I have been wearing them a lot during the winter, they keep my feet warm and comfy, and most importantly stylish. Only problem is that the leather is quite tight so taking the boots off can be a bit of a hassle at the end of the day, does get slightly loose over time though.”

“These are my first pair of Bared shoes and, so far, I really like them. They look really well crafted and, with a pair of (not very thick) ankle socks, they were really, really comfortable on the first wear. (They were slightly less comfortable with knee high stockings on the second wear, as they rubbed a bit. But that's partly the fault of the corns on my toes.) Love the removable, shaped footbed. I'm using the thinner of the two at the moment, but having the option is just genius. Bared's service offering is pretty amazing - haven't needed to test them out on making sure I get the right fit, but it's clear they care about getting it right. The only reason I didn't give my Cardinals 5 stars is that I'm keen to see how they wear with time...”
