“It took me a long time to decide whether or not I wanted to spend more than I typically do on these boots, but I’m so glad I did! They are the most comfortable boots I own. I have wide, flat feet and am still recovering from major ankle surgery. I normally wear size US 8.5 but bought these in size 49. As others have said after a full day wearing these boots or after doing a bit of walking, they are a bit difficult to remove, but I’ve only worn them about four or five times now so maybe they’ll stretch. I’m such a Bared fan now- I even bought a pair of shoes for my husband!”
“These were my first pair from Bared and I'm converted. The boot is incredibly comfortable, though it does need to be worn in a bit to stretch the ankle opening. They are a little hard to get on and off initially, but it gets easier with every wear.
Most importantly, your feet stay dry and toasty (but not too toasty) while looking great.”
“I bought these in a massive sale and am so glad I researched and waited for these! They are definitely worth the cost for the comfort. Initially, I was worried they were too long for my foot, which is very wide and I always struggle to find shoes to fit. However, I emailed customer support and they were superb with suggestions and options. I tried all the different soles and found a combo to suit, and am happy with the length now - it's just a longer toe than I was used to. I've had so many compliments on the grey and love them - they go with so much! I have worn mine with tights (or would suggest long socks) for the first few wears as they can rub your leg/ankle to begin with, until the leather wears in. I honestly can wear them running around all day and not feel like I want to take them off at all.”
“I fell in love with these boots online and fell in love with them when they arrived! I am generally not a heel wearer but these boots are incredibly comfortable. The leather is soft and buttery and have remained mark free (mine are light grey nubuck) - I did apply the protector as suggested though. My only issue was one of choice - oh, which boots do I love best?”

“As other reviewers have said these are really comfortable - feet don’t feel sore at all after a full day despite the heel. Have received many compliments and questions asking “Where are those from?” Only thing I’ve found is that the leather is quite stiff so they have been a bit hard to take off, and sometimes towards the end of the day it can feel tight around the top, middle part of my foot. I imagine as with all leather this will soften up with time and more wears though, so I still give these boots five stars.”
