“A great boot! Super easy to wear and I always get a compliment or two. They can be tricky to get off for the first few wears - needed help to pull them off :) but very comfortable from first wear.

“I had been searching for awhile for the perfect black pointed boot and boy the Cardinal has not disappointed me. They fit perfectly on arrival and I have worn them for long periods of time straight away with no discomfort. Persist with the tightness around the top of the foot, they are (or were for me) a tight fit but the leather has stretched to where i no longer need assistance from my partner in removing them! I definitely can't wait to add more Bared shoes to my collection, these boots were a great first impression.”
“These boots are beautiful and made of high quality leather. I have received compliments on them and am always excited to tell friends that they're built for support as well as style. I usually wear orthotics as I have flat feet, however I have found these boots fine to wear without my orthotics due to the comfy footbed. The reason I have given 4 stars is because I have experienced bad chafing around the high rims of these boots if I'm not wearing socks that go at least 5cm above the ankle, or stockings. I'd have to put tape on the skin above my ankles to protect them from chafing. The scabs from the chafing are still healing now. I have read another review on here about a similar problem so I'm not the only one, and I don't think it's due to rough stitching on the elastic gusset because it's smooth to the touch. It could be due to the angle of my ankle when walking with an uncorrected pronated foot, which causes heavier chafing on the lateral side of each ankle? Anyway I can get around the issue by wearing appropriate socks/stockings so I'm still overall happy with my purchase!”
“Love love love these boots! Most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. Definitely worth the price you pay. I’m sick of buying nice looking shoes only to not be able to wear them for long periods of time. Only thing I’ve found with these is they are a bit hard to get off at the end of the day but I assume as I wear them in this will get better.”
“I did what one should never do, and took these shoes on a two week holiday without breaking them in. Surprise! They were incredibly comfortable from the first wear. The inner sole is super supportive and cushiony, so they're comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. I wore them everyday for two weeks on holiday and they still look as good as new. I recommend them to anyone who'll listen to me!”

“SUPER comfy boots! Worn walking 3km to ‘test’ for the day and honestly can say these are more comfortable than a pair of runners. They are super stylish, worn dressed up or down with jeans or skirts. Only thing is the shoe shape is quite pointy towards the end which might not be for everyone! But super comfy shoes, can’t wait to wear them whilst travelling and teaching!”
“I invested in these boots so could get around NYC in comfort without looking like a tourist..! They were the perfect choice, I didn't wear them in before I left and I didn't have any trouble - they were super comfy, warm and held up well in the rain (I did water-proof them).
Just be mindful wearing them with dark denim jeans as some of the dye transferred onto the light coloured leather.”
