“I very much like the style of the Murrelet but like many of Bared Shoes, the buckle is too short.
The online pair I bought, the bucket didn't go past the heel to the side as in the picture, so I had to twist around to get to the bucket - in the process I pulled a muscle in my back and had to go to the chiropractor.
I noticed that twisting to get the buckle on a cool day is difficult but on a hot day when you foot enlarges, it's impossible. For sandals, the weather and natural foot size has not been taken into consideration - especially as I have a narrow foot and still had difficulty, no matter what the weather.”

“The foot bed is very comfortable and supportive and they look nice but that's where it ends for me. I wore them once and ended up with a blister on my left heel and rubbing from the front straps near the toes on the outside of my foot. I persevered a second time, wearing bandaids to minimise the rubbing but half way through the day they were hurting again. I've had three pairs of Bared sandals that are a very similar style to the Murrelet and they have all been good. Not sure why these aren't working for me.”
