“I bought these as a last minute urgent purchase before a holiday. I walked all over Rome for days without a blister. They look great and are really comfortable. The only issue is the ankle strap is quite short so the buckle ends up at the back of the shoe in order to do up.”
“Out of all the styles these were my favorite. However where there is beauty it lacks in function. Absolutely impossible to put on and take off with any normal speed. The latch is at your heel and when pulled to tighten is out of view for you to weave into the buckle. Takes me five minutes to put on these shoes. Very frustrating. Most have the latches with intricate buckles on the side so you can just bend your leg up and latch. Imagine bending your leg up and the latch is on the opposite side. That’s this design. You’d have to be double jointed and flex your leg backwards for this design to function!!!”
