“I really love these shoes but... The first time I went to wear them the shoelaces were made of different materials. I contacted Customer Care who immediately sent out replacement laces of both types, unfortunately the ones I liked were much too long but at least I could wear them. They are very comfortable shoes and look great with everything but the more I wear them I sense they are in fact from different batches. Firstly they feel different when I put my feet in each, one feels slightly wider than the other. I have also wondered if one sole is slightly higher than the other? There is also a subtle colour difference in the tan leather at the back of the heel. If I lived near one of the stores and, if I didn't like them so much, I know I should have taken them back.”
“Absolutely love these shoes. This is my second pair of Hornbill 3 as my previous pair have travelled across the globe treading 100s of kilometers and still look good with a clean. They are the most comfortable shoe that you can wear all day without getting sore or tired feet. They are my go to pair of shoes when travelling or just weekending. I recently dislocated my toe two days before a business trip overseas, I would not have survived without these shoes as the design is smart casual I could get away with wearing them and they were a godsend for my toe. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone who wants to look after their feet or who spends long hours walking or standing.”
“I was extremely disappointed that Hornbill 3 is a terrible shape and heavier than the old versions. It's not narrow enough in the middle of the foot, and way too narrow at the front of the shoe, and slips at the back of the shoe. I have put in different footbeds, but the shape is sadly not as good as the Hornbill 1 and 2. I would only recommend these shoes if you are happy to have very narrow shoe that's largely the same width for the entire shoe.”
