“Overall I've been happy with the green canvas watch band but I'm not 100% impressed with the "highly durable" claim: mine is nearly 18 months old now and the retainer has frayed so badly within a very short space of time that it is tricky to secure the band on my wrist these days. The rest of the band is fine - it has aged and not frayed and the second retainer is fine, just the first one is almost gone now. The pic shows the wear and the other cotton bracelet (sai sin) is not frayed and been on my wrist for 5 years! Maybe Barton should either make the retainer from a genuinely more durable material or have them blessed by Buddhist monks ;-) I think I'll get a leather or silicon strap next time.”
