“For all curious about the security of quick release: fret no more.....while Barton’s system is simple, it is also effective and secure.....I wear my high end automatics as if they were G Shocks and I had been concerned the quick release might release at the wrong time. Not so. I have worn this for two weeks thru snow blowing and disc brake rotor replacement and a day at the range......Barton’s strap is comfortable, secure and the OD green undercarriage perfectly accentuates the dial of this Alpinist.......I may buy an Isofrane one day, but now I see no reason to spend $140 when I can spend $21 and keep my money in Texas.....oh, and the notch for the strap keeper? “I have tried several different watch bands on my new Misfit Vapor 2 and they have all been a little too big for my wrist, or else so stiff that it's hard to get the band tightened enough.
