G-SHOCK Watch Adapters Reviews

3.2 Rating 31 Reviews
It was a little difficult to remove the original watch band and get these on due to the small space. Make sure you have a good spring-bar tool. These work great once you get them on.

It would great if you could offer this same adapter in silver. This adapter works much better than any other G-Shock adapter I've purchased in the past.

I received this item twice. Once along with a Barton strap I purchased for my Gshock, and the second was sent to me after my first bad review. Do not buy these. They are incorrectly machined and do not line up with the lugs of a dw5600. The fit is impossible without either filing down the lugs on you watch, rematching the adapters themselves, or somehow bending the spring bars. After receiving them twice I doubt is a fluke. I suppose there's a chance they fit some other gshock reference, but certainly not the gshock squares. Barton, please don't send me anymore.

The included short spring bars do not secure the adapter to my DW-5600E. I attempted to use different spring bars and they were too large, in diameter, to fit in the adapters. It appears to me that that the provided spring bars are not sufficient to task.

Impossible to install on a DW-5600E without removing caseback. Water resistance of watch is now probably zilch and I cannot imagine how I will get the battery changed when I need a new one. When I get the next 5600, I will use someone else's adapter and hope for better results. Would not recommend for a 5600.
