“The band looks the same in person as shown on the site, and seems well-made. Fit exactly to my watch and is much more comfortable than the original metal band. Color is uniform, so don't expect it to have a weathered or broken-in look at first.”

My only criticism would be a minor point of the design. For men's watches the band should not reduce in width through its length especially when fitted to the larger man's watches. The Barton band reduces from 20mm at the lugs to about 17mm at the end and this makes it look a little effeminate on mens watches. The band would look better if it maintained the same width throughout and this would be further enhanced by a heavier buckle. See the attached picture with the same 42mm watch with its original band and the Barton band.”
