“This was my first Barton purchase, though I have heard of them before through different watch-focused websites and podcasts. My modest collection had previously been laid out on top of my dresser, and so a convenient and handsome storage system that doubles for use with travel was a perfect purchase!
The look of it is rugged without being overly rustic, and the quality of craftsmanship is very good. The inner lining is quite soft, so I'm not worried about scratching from inserting or removing my pieces.
If I had one qualm, it would be only that one of my pieces has a deployant clasp, and I feel that I may have to loosen or remove that band in order to get it to fit without creasing the leather. This is probably more a critique of deployant clasps with watch rolls, and not a critique of this Barton watch roll!
