“Great set up, very stable and nice to paddle. Steering pretty good. Does collect water in a choppy bay and will need to fit some sort of pump as it becomes sluggish to paddle with water. Overall a great starter craft for touring or fishing. Paddle is basic and would recommend an upgrade.”
“Guys were always available for questions and quickly responded. Delivery was within 1 week and delivered to home with no problems. Kayak looks great with lots of storage. I have used the kayak the once and found kayak large and heavy to lift on car roof racks. I have worked out I need to lift up one end onto rack and lift, rotate and slide kayak onto second rack. Not easy to lift by one person but possible. Ideally much easier with two people lifting. First time on water kayak seemed tippy due to hard vee chines. In calm water it seems tippy but am told in choppy water I can roll with the swell. Took I little to get used to tippy feel but I am comfortable with this now. Boat tracks well and easy to paddle. Two piece paddle light weight and adjustable. Rudder responsive and very useful. Rudder easy to raise and lower. Seat comfortable. Initially it was sliding but have put a soft rubber pad under seat to stop it sliding on hull and elevate my seat it bit. Hull chine allows boat to track in straight line well but a little less manoeuvrable to spin or turn in confined space compared to shorter kayak with flat bottom. I bought basic trolley which has two rods which insert into the bungs. Trolley fits together well but a bit fiddly for one person to lift kayak and inset trolley. I think I would buy cradle trolley and would be easier to use. Despite some negatives I am very pleased with kayak and enjoy the paddle. Most negatives I think are me mostly getting used to this kayak and bit different to others I have used. I chose kayak for size, storage, and easy of paddling and am pleased with this choice and kayak quality , design and customer service. Thanks guys.”
