“I liked the kayak. I has combination of parameters which is optimal for me: it fits into my existing shed, doesn't overhang from roofrack on my Camry, has enough capacity to take it to expeditions, is fast and easily controlled (even without a rudder) and is reasonably priced. I tested it last weekend and was happy with it. There were just few minor issues: when I capsized it (we were practicing rescues), some water got inside both hatches - so they are not 100% water proof (each hatch had around 0.5-1 litre of water after the test, so always use dry bags for the water sensitive things!). Kayak also arrived with some lines not properly fixed, but I managed to fix it myself. The space for legs is also perfect for me (I am 180 cm tall), but my son, who is bigger than me, couldn't get in, so make sure that you are not too big for it! I liked additional space behind the seat, but it looks like overal hatches capacity is a bit exaggerated (accordind to characteristics it should be 50% more than for Contour 450, but it looks like in fact they are almost the same - probably space behind the seat was added to the back hatch capacity), but it is still adequate for my needs. Delivery took a bit less than 3 weeks, but that was probably due to covid logistics problems.
Will recommend it, and think that it is a good value for money.”
