“Recently I purchased the Discovery 4 metre Sit On Top Touring Kayak from Bay Sports for using on the waters around Nelson Bay. I have had the RTM Disco Sit On Top Kayak for about ten years and in my opinion it is one of the best boats for tracking and moving quickly across open sea water and so when I was told the Discovery was based on that design but wider around the seat to make it more stable- I was interested.
The Discovery is a quick boat like the RTM Disco , and in open water, for either touring or fishing has the added stability that is comforting in sloppy water. The hull design allows it to cut through the swell and easily keep pace with the RTM Disco. The photo is in open water , north of the Fingal Spit , a trip that was easy in the Discovery. It is a great boat and was delivered to my place, well packaged and in excellent condition. I would recommend the Discovery.”
