“My 16 year son and I couldn't be happier with the performance of the Expedition 3 from Baysports. We have taken it out a few times on Patterson River - once during 20 kt winds and found it stable and with rudder, easy to navigate. Carbon fibre paddles as upgrade were excellent and adjustable to suit.
For context we are new to sit in Kayaks and only used our friends sit on Kayaks a few times for leisure on camping trips.
Due to our lack of experience, thought we might accidentally tip on this, yet thankfully not the case to date.
I found Baysports responsive to a voice call back request prior to purchase and very helpful with questions about availability and accessories. I suggest don't buy accessories with Kayak as follow-on email provides a discount code if buying in 1-2 weeks.
Delivery was prompt - order to receipt pre-Christmas was 2-3 weeks which met expectations.
I did purchase a hoist system for storage via Amazon - Harken Kayak Hoist - 2 point system (not available Baysports), and highly recommend due to its size.
The Pro rack carrier cradle purchased from Baysports works great on Ford Territory 2013 that already had cross bars. I can remove from roof on my own, yet 27kg with length isn't easy. I'm yet to be able to put up onto roof myself, yet are investigating YouTube solutions with trolley.
Trolley for sit-in transports easy on own, yet haven't been able to make fit into Kayak (maybe every component must be taken apart?).
So in summary, very pleased with service and follow up responses online with Baysports. I propose a budget of approx $2000 if needing accessories which for me included gloves, paddle upgrade, life jacket, trolley, cover, paddle lesh and kayak roof cradle.”

Down side is strapping to a kayak trailer pr roof racks the plastic bends around the rack and causing it to dent. Been hard trying to get out.
Rudder instructions was hard to follow and make sense of had to get help with. Scratches easy on rocks or oyster shells.”
