“This is a well laid up and built paddle and shaft, let down overall somewhat by poor assembly. Overall paddle length is too long at 222 cm (with an optional 10 cm extension.) Weight is a nice 980 grams, shaft is 28mm dia with an interesting scored exterior for a grippy texture. Control side has no indexing or ovality. Blade openings are plugged to prevent water ingress. The central clamp is quick and effective with no sharp edges. It has marked angles to allow for easy feather angle setup. However the clamp has been glued without reference to the centre line which negates this idea. Doh! The shaft holes for the locating buttons are ~0.5mm too big- presumably to allow for sand or grit but this gives a floppy blade feel which I really didn't like. I have shortened my paddle by 10 cm and redrilled the locating holes and am now happy with this paddle. A little more attention to detail with assembly would see this a 5 star product that I would be happy to recommend to my paddler friends.”

“Purchase experience was good, price was good, product quality is good, however because the paddle weighed 26% more than was specified on their website (ie 970 g actual vs 765 g specified) and because paddle weight is important, I can only give this 2 stars.”
