“I finally got around to putting my Kayak on the wall using the Bay Sports Kayak Wall Storage Brackets today. The design is similar to other wall brackets in that the bracket seen on the web page is held by 2 plastic holders (not shown on web page) that are screwed into the wall, which allow the brackets to swivel and lay flat against the wall when not in use. I found the plastic wall plugs provided not really solid enough and so used my own (dark blue in colour).
The specs on the web page are incorrect as the brackets I received and installed have a height of 42cm and a width of 34cm which only allow a slight angle v's flat against the wall. The weight capacity is not as high as other wall brackets on the market but enough for me and I wanted the brackets to fit the kayak that I purchased from Bay Sports, so that's why I went with their wall bracket option.
Overall I am very happy with the wall brackets and the final result on the wall but suggest better better description/photo on the web page and that the specs be corrected.”
