“From the moment I ordered Nereus 2 until I received it, Bay Sports kept me updated on the wait time and delivery arrangements. I give these guys 5 stars for communication and delivery.
Other 5 stars are definitely for the kayak itself with its 3 paddles and 3 comfy seats.
I took my girls out on the river last weekend and we had so much fun... The kayak is so stable that they try to capsize but couldn't at all.
Together we learnt the right paddling technique and in a couple of hours we actually looked like professional kayakers!!!
We can't wait for the next weekend. In the meantime, I might even get up early and enjoy it all by myself and look at the sunrise over the river!
This was definitely one of the best purchases I did in recent years.

“I recently bought a Nereus 2 family kayak from Bay Sports and I couldn't have asked for more in service or product. The kayak comfortably fits myself and my two kids. It comes with great quality paddles and seat pads. It's extremely sturdy and would be difficult to capsize. The pricing of the kayak was amazing - I would have expected to pay about double for a kayak of its size and quality. The kayak was not in stock when I ordered it, but the team at baysports sent me updates on progress and drove it up to my house just after it arrived.”
“You really couldn't ask for more from the Nereus 2 given its price. It comfortably fits myself and my two kids. It comes with great quality paddles and seat pads. It's extremely sturdy and would be difficult to capsize. It has a well designed layout for storage and fishing rod holders.
If I could improve two things, it would be the tracking (it doesn't have a rudder, so you've got to expect that) and the weight (it's difficult for one person to carry, but I manage - a trolley is strongly recommended if your kids are too little to help). However, I would not expect these unless I was paying more than double the price.”

Josh at Bay Sports was highly communicative throughout and delivered on quality! I was a little apprehensive over buying a sit on top kayak as we have always used sea kayaks on Sydney harbour; but we were assured that the build quality, weight and tracking of the vessel would be fit for purpose. This kayak tracks really well which is testament to the build quality and the vessel handles boat wash competently too, important when kayaking on busy stretches of water. Looks great in jungle camo too
