“I was looking for a single sit-on kayak with enough room to take my kid (4 year old) but also light enough to wrangle single-handedly. This kayak is perfect. Handles at front/back and sides, customisable footholds, great storage, light enough. A friend of mine bought a slightly longer and heavier kayak and it just tips it over the edge for convenience to a two-man job. Haven't ordered from bay sports before but what you see is what you get.”
“We purchased two Nero kayaks and the Deluxe comfort seat, and are very happy with our purchase. The kayak sits well in the water and is comfortable. We particularly like the moulded handles at the sides and front, making it easy to carry and lift. The adjustable foot position is great, although it could do with a couple more positions for short people like myself.”
“Really nice kayak, only issue I would say is me being 140kg (rated for 180kg) if I put anything behind me I start taking in water. I am trialing adding some counterweight at the front tomorrow to bring the back up a bit.
Otherwise I'd say it's a good entry level kayak!”
“My experience has been really good. I walk it on a trolley about 2km to beach. It it is smaller than my other kayaks and much beasir to paddle. It handles chpp and surf a little better storage is eccelent.”
