“I purchased this rudder to put on my Pedal Pro fish kayak .
The rudder sold with the kayak did not steer the kayak very well. I spoke to your staff to see if the 3.9 rudder would fit . They said no. But after checking the measurements on line I took a punt and bought it .
I fits perfectly and really should be part of the 2.5 equipment .”
“The rudder itself is fine but the design is questionable. My original rudder somehow worked itself loose and fell off on the way home from a day out. After coming in from a fishing session about 3km off shore, when I got the kayak back on the trailer, I realised the new rudder had worked itself loose and was a couple of threads away from falling off. I'm so glad I spotted it and it never fell off o nthe way home or worse, 3km out at sea! I've since applied strong Loctite to the thread of the bolt holding the rudder on and the thread inside the rudder and that seems to be keeping it secure for now, but I'm going to be checking it regularly from now on as part of my maintenance routine!”
