“Product quality is good.
Rudder hole had to be re drilled as there metal sleeve did not align to the bottom hole.
Rudder cables was badly linked so had to straighten out.
One of the screws holding down the pedal won’t tighten, so the pedal comes loose after pedaling for awhile.
In all there are work arounds.”
“A few quality issues out of the box 1. Distance between seat brackets was 10mm longer than distance between track mount fastening bolts, I had to hacksaw 5mm either end of base frame of seat, once done it was fine 2. One fastening screw was missing from one of the tracks, no big deal, I supplied my own screw So apart from the slow start in setup, I’m extremely happy with the kayak and would recommend to anyone. Bit disappointed that the website photos of the yak show a trolley system attached to the keel, but when I contacted bay sports about it, the item is new and not available until Sep/Oct, they should have stated that on the website. Again however, doesn’t reduce my excitement for this yak, I absolutely love it”
