“I had a problem with the pedal system mounts coming loose. Bay Sports quickly posted out replacement mounts which perform well.
The build quality of the hull is good.
I found it necessary to tweak the operation of the rudder system as a too long screw in the rudder control box hit the hull restricting the range of movement. Shortening the screw resolved this.
Overall, compared to the price of the competition, I thought it was good value.”
“Ordered online and was on back order but wasn't a very long wait until it was available. Straight out of the wrapping, kayak looked awesome overall with the layout exactly how I wanted for fishing. But on closer inspection, there were some aspects that missed the quality check, such as missing parts, (bungee cords in the back), loose screws, etc. Pedal system also wasn't locking in on one side, but that is a simple fix if you're handy. For the price, it's a great value kayak with many customisable features. Just don't expect everything to be perfect out of the box, like with more expensive brands.”

“Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
I purchased a kayak, an outrigger and a kayak trolley...
All of the items were packed in the kayak and all of the bits and pieces were lumped together. It took a while to figure out which bits were for the rudder assembly, which were for the trolley and which were for the outrigger. I had a grub/locking screw left over that I cannot find a use for. Which concerns me a little.
It didn't help that the mounting for the outrigger did not match the website images (i.e. the mounting parts pictured were different to the ones supplied).
It also didn't help that there was no assembly instructions/documentation supplied. I did find a video online for the outrigger, but have not found anything for the kayak flap drive or the rudder. The flap drive appears to need two screws as there are threads imbedded in the hull... but no corresponding screws were supplied in the accessories. I raised a support ticket asking for clarification, but it's been a couple of days with no response.
A users's manual was supplied with the kayak, but it covered three other kayaks and not actually the one I purchased.
It had information about the pedal kayak, but not the flap powered one.
I also discovered that the flap powered kayak does not have reverse. As the mirage flap drive does have a reverse, I was expecting this one to have it.
And as there is no instruction manual or any information provided, I cannot confirm it.
Anyone that is not good at working things out may have a chore with the assembly.
The quality of the kayak does appear to be very good, especially for the price.
Although the rudder pivot mechanism is metal to metal, so I'm not sure how that will wear over time. The rudder assembly was slightly challenging with no parts list or instructions.”

This pedal flap system actually does not have the reverse function, which is specified on the product page.
