“great experience with the team. Product quality is good just be carefull of any rocks while loading/unloading as the soft plastic scratches deep easily. I had to tighten all fittings and all screws as most were loose on arrival and a bungee cord on the hatch and pedal drive had come off. I was missing the handles and paddle saver leash but the team shipped them out asap. Great bunch of people to deal with and not a bad product for the price”

“I just got this kayak a week ago, and thought about sharing my experience. Last weekend was my first trial, and overall it went well, except for minor silly installation mistakes from my side.
I can list the first impression pros as follows:
* Size: it's 4 meter kayak, which is huge, this must be one of the tallest kayaks in the market
* Stability: I am no expert in kayaking, and when I tried my new kayak it was my second time kayaking ever, and I can say that it was super stable, I had no issue trying to adjust my seat or hooking the paddle on/off the kayak body
*Extras: this kayak comes with plenty of rod holders, 2 in the back behind the seat for trolling, another two in-front. Fish finder transducer which is built-in the body haul, I didn't buy a fish finder yet but of course this is one less step for me when I decide to get one. The paddle of course is really handy, thanks to the bungy ropes on the kayak sides I can hook it easily to the kayak body
As cons, these are the things I noticed so far:
*A plastic cover is used to fit above the open space where the pedaling gear go through into the water, this plastic cover comes with 2 side release plastic buckles clips, unfortunately 1 one them was broken, but Bay Sports promptly arranged a replacement, so all good there.
As a conclusion, having such a beautiful water-sport/fishing platform is just overwhelming, I still have to get used to the idea of deciding which waterway I can go explore, either for fishing or just for sport .. I am glad I took this step, still have a lot to learn and experience .. Very good quality kayak however and so am glad I invested in it.

“The yak is great . Loads of space for the long trips. Loading it on the ute is easy with the right technique getting it on a trolley that is a different story its hell but working on that. The pedal drive have a bit of movement when peddling still working on resolving that. Only problem I have is the seat the backrest straps lasted 20min was a bit disappointed . Shipping was fast”

“From the start dealing with Bay Sports has been fantastic. Like everyone I did a little searching, I wanted a paddle kayak that was quality but wouldn't send me broke like a certain brand. I love fishing but I didn't want or have room of the cash for a boat or even a tinnie. I was sick of pier and beach fishing where I could see the salmon swarming but couldn't get to them. That is where I saw what Bay Sports had to offer. I like their website and the layout is easy to use to see exactly what you want.
After looking at the web site I had a few questions... I hate that little icon at the bottom of the right screen with the speak with a representative now. I took the plunge and for the first time ever I was speaking with a real person who knew what they were talking about (thank you Hamish)! Hamish patiently went through everything with me.
From there the recommended gear was perfect (I personally recommend getting a trolley or the sand if you are launching off the beach like me). I placed my order for the Pedal Pro Fish XL - 4m and even asked Hamish for a favour as I don't have a vehicle at the moment and as the kayak was on/over the 4 metre mark it had to come through to a delivery centre. So, Hamish and I workeed out that if I was willing to wait a little longer (in this cas about 5 days) that he would organise for it to be delivered to my house which was a spectacular piece of customer service!!!!
The day I received the kayak I was like a kid at christmas time! Putting it together is very easy and didn't take long at all. So, as they say the proof is in the eating. I took the kayak and some rods out to the top end of Port Phillip Bay. I have to say it was great, here are some of the things that I love about the kayak:
Stability (I am 6 foot plus and 120 kgs and no issus)
Handling (for a kayak this size and my weight it turned well)
Ride (it cut through the chop with ease)
Rod/Equipment placement (you are spoilt for choice on this kayak)
Speed (it is actually very fast over the water when you put some peddle power in)
Fishing (I was fishing over the reefs with about a metre of water under me catching fish while the fishing boats could only look on)
It handled the very different types of weather that Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay can throw up with ease. I highly recommend Bay sports for their professionalism and just being great people! I also highly recommend this kayak as it is great if you are a bigger person or just want total comfort and stability while you are out on the water.
Finally, I just want to say that if your other half complains about the cost let them know that not only will this Kayak keep you fit and help you drop some kg's you also get a great feed of fish and squid at the end of the day.”
