I have had it for 3 months and use once a week in Middle Harbour Sydney.
It is great two up but also very good as a solo kayak. Very quick to set up and put away.
I leave it in my boot ready to use.
Very stable & quite fast.
Best in lighter winds as the high sides catch the wind.

“We are retirees travelling around Australia in a motorhome. We carry the KXOne Slider 485 in the boot of the motorhome along with our two ebikes.
The 485 has been a great choice of kayak for us. We spent a long time researching, looking for something that would not only fit the space in the boot, but would also perform well,, because we have done a lot of kayaking over the years in canvas, fibreglass and plastic models and knew what we wanted.
The 485 has exceeded our expectations. It is light enough for one of us to lift out of the boot and for two us us to carry, when inflated, to the shoreline.
It is very stable to get in and out of, tracks beautifully and is easy to paddle. There is plenty of room for picnic and/or camping gear and even a grandchild!
The skeg is easy to fit and remove when in the water and the small zip bags behind the comfortable seats are a very useful.

① Excellent portability.
② Drop stitch material is excellent in rigidity.
③ In addition to general double blade and single blade method of rowing, there is aright width and sufficient length to install the rowing rigger for scull oar.
