“We LOVE our Speedys. I bought one for my birthday in 2021. Actually, I bought the Neptune but it wasn't big enough for me (I'm a tank) so I swapped it for the Speedy and Bay Sports made that super easy. After one paddle in my kayak my wife had to get her own, so now we have the double rainbow. We've been paddling up in the Blue Mountains where we live, and down in Canberra on glassy Lake Burley Griffin and the Speedy has never let us down. It is stable, comfortable, fast and easy to steer. We're beginners but have been able to master some tight turns even in this long pointy boat. I highly recommend this for beginners looking for a stable rig for longer paddles or anyone who's not ready for a sit-in just yet. If it's too heavy for you to lift, no worries, just do like I did, go to the gym, paddle a lot and work on your upper body, and eventually you'll be able to lift it by yourself!”
