“If you have a dress with tulle (or similar) material that will “catch” on to things or “snag”... DO NOT get these shoes.
The shoes are BEAUTIFUL, but I spent my entire wedding ceremony / photos pulling the shoes off of the dress because the prongs that hold in the little embellishments were literally attaching themselves to my dress and clinging to it. It was awful.
I tripped off of the trolley because of these shoes, have holes in my wedding dress because of these shoes, and have a HUGE hole in my cathedral length veil because of the shoes. No exaggeration on this whatsoever... it was bad.
I had to take these shoes off before I even got to my reception.
I really don’t mean to bash the shoes because if you have a satiny type of dress material, the shoes might be fine. But, if your dress has fabric that would pull, do NOT get these shoes.
It’s also worth mentioning that the GEMSTONES FALL OUT VERY EASILY. Just in the few times I put the shoes on for fittings BEFORE my wedding, stones came out. Customer service was great and sent me replacement embellishments (which pop in easily) - but more came out on my wedding day, and for the price I think it’s a little ridiculous that they can’t withstand a couple fittings or a couple hours.”
