“These shoes were miserable. I wound up taking them off almost immediately after my ceremony as they would not stay on my feet no matter what I did. I put extra insoles in the toe box and even took them to a shoe maker to have the sling back strap shortened to try and get them to stay on my feet but no matter what I did they just slipped off. Horrible. I was walking out of them during my photos. Wish I had chosen something with an ankle strap. I wound up wearing my maid of honour’s extra pair of shoes - shout-out to ALDO! DO NOT buy these for your wedding day!! They won’t stay on your feet!! I paid a fortune for shoes I wore for all of 30 minutes.”
Hi Suzanne! In terms of comfort, we are so sorry to hear the shoes weren't comfortable for you. Everyone's feet are different so different styles will fit differently on everyone. Slingbacks specifically can be finicky depending on the shape of your foot. It sounds like the shoes may have been too big and you needed to exchange them for a smaller size. Going down ½ a size works if the slingback currently isn’t making contact with the back of your heel. If your heels are narrow and the slingback keeps slipping off, you may want to use double-stick fashion tape or strap cushions to help your foot grip onto the slingback more.
