“I recently ordered 20" "dirty blonde" extensions in 160g and let me tell you, they were PINK. I had to do a rush order before an important event. Dirty blonde? I didn't realize dirty blonde had pink undertones. When I got them I was immediately disappointed as they didn't look ANYTHING like the color on the website. But alas I did not have time to exchange them so I figured like any other extensions I would be able to tone them one way or another. I have been wearing extensions for 10 years and have tried every brand you can think of, purchased online multiple times. I saw this brand endorsed by @kyliejenner and figured they must be worth their salt. These are absolutely NOTHING as they were pictured in the website which showed a nice, natural neutral hue. To make it worse you cannot tone his color out. I made countless efforts trying to tone them down with purple shampoo, didn't work. Then I tried an actual toner to make them more gold/neutral and NATURAL hued, again NO results. This color has a very distinct pink hue. This is no exaggeration. My hair dresser was dumb founded, she couldn't help me salvage this mess. I am so disappointed with these extensions. I figured a product backed by so many celebrities would at least be accurately portrayed on the website. The only redeeming quality is that they are thick and soft, but even that faded in less than a month and became a tangled, dry mess. 2/10 would not buy again. Total waste of money.”
“I purchased two sets of hair in dirty blonde, one a bang and one a set of extensions. When the two sets arrived they did not match each other in any way. One set was red/pink and one set was indeed dirty blonde and matched my hair perfectly. There was no way possible to wear the two sets together and make it look natural. Whatever type of quality control was in place the day my shipment was shipped is beyond me; any reasonable person could notice the two did not match and should not be shipped together. Quality control fail! I called and emailed, with pictures attached, customer service about my issue and was told that I could exchange the set at my expense and on Bellami's timeline. True, there was an offer to exchange the hair, but at what cost for Bellami's error? I was not in charge of selecting or shipping the two sets of hair that did not match each other. I, in good faith, ordered two sets of hair expecting them at the least to match each other. Customer service fail! I decided to try to wash the hair extensions to try to wash out some of the red in an attempt to get the two sets to begin to match. afterall I had already spent money on an expected product and waited nine days to receive what was supposed to arrive in 3-6 days. I wanted my thick, beautiful hair! Washing did not make the extensions any better, but made them much worse! The hair started falling out from the wefts in piles. I get it, hair falls out, but the wefts lost about 1/8 of the volume. I was so astonished I took a picture of the hair with the Joico shampoo I used and the It's a 10 spray that was applied after shampooing to condition the extensions to prove this time a manufacturing fail. Sadly, my horrible experience with Bellami did not end there. Still keeping the faith that my hair would work out, I straightened my "real human hair' which began to blacken and melt right in front of my eyes. Unbelievable, I know, but I have the photos to prove this too. I finally gave up on the hair I so wanted and decided the poor reviews I read about Bellami on the Internet, but mysteriously not on the site, must have been true because I too had been done wrong. I now own a beautiful pair of hair extensions that cost more then Bellami, but as we all know, you get what you pay for. It is my mission at this point to let anyone and everyone know the experience I had with Bellami. The month-long experience was filled with major fails by the company who obviously cares more about the bottom line than keeping customers (one like me who had another set of extensions in my shopping cart, which thankfully I did not purchase) happy. And all that had to be done was apologize for the error and offer to send me out a new set for exchange as quickly as possible and sorry for the error. Seriously, Bellami,”
“I am disappointed because I'm still waiting for my hair extensions. I ordered them in January, and was told they're back ordered. Had I known I would have just asked for a refund, but I ordered the wrong colour and had to send back, costing me FedEx charges of $75. I did this so I could get them sooner, and that's when I found out they're on back order. So now I'm stuck waiting. So disappointed!!! If I hadn't have had to pay $75 to exchange for the correct shade, I would be asking for a refund right now. Now I'm stuck waiting for them to come sometime in March. Suggestion: if they're on back order why don't you let people know BEFORE they order?!?!”
“I been buying bellami hair extensions for 3 years always the same color the first extension were great this passed month I purchased the bambina 160g 20'' dirty blonde (the ones I always get) and first of all the color is not the same its suppose to be dirty blonde and the color was more like grey... as the others 4 I bought in the pass the hair is bad quality and looks dry. Its the last time I buy from this company”
“I ordered the exact same pair of dirty blonde extensions I previously purchased and they were not even close to the same shade of blonde. I understand that dye batches are different but I was very disappointed. When I emailed for customer service they were attentive and timely which was great but the actual product was not good”
“I purchased two different packages of hair in the same color. One was red/pink and the other was spot-on. There was no way I could have worn the hair together and not looked like a complete fool! Yes, Bellami was willing to take the extensions for an exchange, but at my expense and taking up to two additional weeks to receive. My expense? My time? For their mistake? What kind of customer service is that? Not high, I can tell you that for sure. So, I washed my hair extensions in purple shampoo and treated them with It's a 10 hoping to wash out some of the obnoxious pink. The hair fell out like crazy!!! I would estimate about a fifth of the hair came out after brushing with a loop brush (I have pictures to prove both the color mismatch and the hair falling out and the products I used on the hair). Okay, fair enough, hair falls out. However then the next day when I went to straighten them using my Chi straightener, hair literally melted and turned black right in front of my eyes. Yes, melted! Again, my camera did not fail me as I took photos of that too. I literally give up on the mismatch, pink extensions, chalked it up to "I told you so" as I combed through the poor reviews I should have listened to in the first place, and ordered new extensions from a different company, which I love. Finally, the hair I wanted way back in 2016. I will never recommend Bellami hair to anyone. I was duped and would never want any other consumer to feel the same. Sorry, Bellami. You lost a customer for life.”
