“I've struggled with baby thin hair my whole life. After having my son, I lost a ton of hair, leaving me with patchy bald spots on my scalp. My son is now 3 years old and the patchy spots have grown in (not completely) but I still have thin, frail hair, about an inch past my shoulders in length. After doing days and days of research, talking to 2 of my hair stylists, Bellami's were the highest rated, so for the first time in my life, I got extensions. I ordered the Bambina 160g 20" in Chocolate Brown. I got the Bambina because I wanted length and volume, and plan on my hair dresser to cut and style them for a more natural look. I have watched endless YouTube videos about Bellami's - unboxing, installation, care, etc. When I received my Bellami's, I was excited. I've now worn them about 4 times to get used to them until I meet with my stylist in a few weeks to have her alter them. After watching several videos on Bellami's, I learned that they are thicker than most other brands, however, mine are not for some reason. They are thin and stringy - when I hold the wefts in front of my face, you can see completely through them. The thickest of the wefts I received are, oddly, the 1-clip wefts. The 3 and 4-clip wefts seem to be the thinest - almost as if they've been used and worn before. I have been wearing them, nonetheless, but unfortunately, will need to order another set in hopes that this will help blend in better with my natural hair. Another con, is that the highest i can put in a weft is at ear level, otherwise the clips show though my hair (thats how thin my hair is). I ordered these to help hide the fact that my hair is so sparse - to not look like I'm not a cancer patient going through chemo. They definitely help, but I can't say I'm completely satisfied. The fact that the clips show through my hair is a disappointment and the fact the wefts are thin and stringy seriously bummed me out (how will they end up after wearing them for several days, weeks, etc?). The pros are 1) the chocolate brown matches my hair color perfectly; and 2) putting them in is insanely easy. I hope this review helps those that truly have thin hair, like myself.”
