“I am really disappointed and displeased with my purchase. I've been wearing hair extensions for 10 years already and this is the first time this has happened. I received the hair about 2 weeks ago and started wearing it in a week ago. When I first opened the little package it wasn't as glamorous as what it seemed off social media but I didn't care as long as the hair is of quality. The extensions itself reeked of a chemical smell but I assumed the smell would probably go away once I wash it. I was in the sink trying to wash the oder away and my sink started to fill up with the muddy black water (probably from hair dye which explains the smell because it was most likely ammonia based). I've never bought extensions in my lifetime that was dyed and unwashed and sent out for shipment. I stood there for an hour trying to wash, rinse, repeat using half of my shampoo bottle to get the dye and smell out. The only part that was successful was the hair extensions dye came out but the smell didn't. Now I'm stuck here debating if I should just throw away the hair extensions or is there a way to remove the smell?”
