I was REALLY excited about getting nice extensions. But they don’t hold their curl & they’re like any other extensions I’ve bought before. Nothing special.

Girls please listen to me when I say THESE ARE NOT WORTH YHE HYPE I know how important of a decision buying hair extensions cause I’m self conscious of my hair without extensions I know other girls can relate, it makes me sad to think of other girls spending the amount of money I did on these and being very disappointed, so I felt compelled to write this review First let me qualify myself I’ve been wearing hair extensions since 2009. I have tried so many brands, but I’m here to speak on Bellami, about five years ago I purchased from bellami the guy tang baylage set. At first I was impressed not long after I remembered them being extremely dry to the point they would tangle and matte : lately I feel like I can’t find a good pair of extensions and bellami has so many good reviews, which by the way has to be paid for by them cause theirs just NO WAY so anyway I figured let me try again I thought to myself maybe it was my fault they ended up dry, maybe I should of washed them before I put heat to them maybe I was too hard on them. So I figured let me try again and let me get a dark color maybe they will last longer, maybe mine were dry cause the ends were blonde bayalage. I literally studied videos how to take the BEST care of my extensions for hours before committing to the price of almost 400$ which to me a mom with two kids is a big spend. So I decided to go all the way spend good money thinking they would last me a long time, so I purchased the magnifica 240 grams in dark brown. The first day i was like wow these are beautiful so soft so nice and bouncy. By day two without even putting heat to them (cause I committed to using no heat at first I wanted to pro long them!) They were so dry that they legit were starting to matte it was embarrassing. I wear extensions EVERYDAY so not using them wasnt an option to me and buying new ones wasnt So I tried so much to help them. I tried EVERYTHING. I spent money on special oils to make them soft DIDNT EVEN TAKE TO OIL. I tried washing and deep conditioning the amount of hair that fell out of these things just from washing and detangling with conditioner was insane I’m talking MASSIVE amounts of shead not to mention the water when I washed them was BLACK like the dye was just stripping out. So after the wash I put lots of good oil in them and let them air dry. THEY WERE almost WORSE after that. Literally they feel synthetic. And that’s using sulfate free shampoo .. I know how bad protein is for hair extensions so I made sure to find products with little to no protein I bought a special heat tool the second week I figured maybe I can straighten them out with heat cause they were extremely DRY AND FRIZZY. the ends were SO DRY so I decided to trim theM thinking it would help mind you guys this is all within the first two week UNACCEPTABLE. not to mention the clips already have started to fall off. So about my brand new curling iron that was 80$ that I specifically bought for these that was literally gold plated and less damaging after the first time curling them my curling iron was ruined black plastic pieces just melted to it the smell is HORRIBLE.. my boyfriend was like what is burning it’s literally embarrassing!!These are probably the worse extensions I have ever gotten I’m just so upset .. today I decided to give these one last chance and wore them to New York immediately after styling them and walking outside they were MATTED. I spent an hour of our car ride so frustrated brushing my hair and shedding hair EVERYWHERE. I couldn’t even put a window dwn cause it seemed the air blowing on to them made them worse. it made my time less enjoyable cause I was so worried about how matted fake and dry my hair looked that I ultimately just pulled it back and when I got home and took it down from the hair tie it was so matted, sad. Now I won’t lie they are THICK & before finishing one section the one I brushed was tangled again so I just spent 400$ on these at this point there not wearable so I had to bite the bullet and order a new pair from Luxy .. shame on you Bellami .. DO BETTER smh

I was expecting better quality and got them to be a lot thicker. Such a disappointment!!

I washed my hair before using and it was disgusting what came out of it. I emailed the company videos and photos, they apologized, asked me for more information and immediately closed the case: Like I spent a lot of money on this hair just to be so grossed out that I couldn’t use it. The sketchy part is once you open it you can’t return it. I knew in my gut not to buy it, but ‍♀.

the hair becomes pretty stringy at the bottom because the hair thins out so much at the bottom. I also found the hair does not hold a curl well either
