“ I had dark brown hair that was recently ombred with bleach and I was SO NERVOUS about the color not matching. Here's the thing--I would highly suggest getting your natural hair ombred with these extensions because since your natural hair is going to likely be shorter than the extensions, the ombré lighter color will be higher up on you than on these extensions. This is great because these Bellamis are mostly dark brown and then hit the lighter color subtly and then more intensely just mainly in the last few inches in the front pieces-which will balance out the color higher up and make your fade look really natural. The more dark brown in those front pieces (one and two clip wefts) provides shadow contouring around your neck so it doesn't look "dip dye"-ish . I actually talked with Guy Tang about the extensions. He told me that it took so long for them to come out because he wanted the color to be perfect and quality--even down to the stock pictures used on the website.
Personally, I hate the brush that comes with these. It is cheap, and the bristles are hard as a rock which is hard on the hair and makes it break off easier. I just got a large Wet Brush from amazon and that's MUCH more effective! I don't suggest using the brush that came with these amazing extensions.
One issue I have with all Bellami extensions is the quality is great at first, but not after you wash them a few times. This is because Bellami uses a silicone treatment that makes them feel so nice. The treatment wears away as you wear and wash them. I would suggest only washing your extensions about every 10 uses. I use the weekend recovery and daily dose kit from the company hair kandy--which SAVES these Bellamis. If you use that kit even once, they will feel just as silky and soft as they did out if the package.
Anywho--These extensions are incredible! The color matched perfectly and blended so nicely, there isn't even a need to tone them.”
